You give to humanitarian relief, and to your alumni organization. You give to your place of worship, and to your political party. In this day and age, there are so many projects that are worthy of your support, and causes that require your generosity. And yet, you still make time in your life for the arts. What is it that propels you to carve out time in your busy schedule, to brave traffic and parking? You understand: the arts matter.

Each season brings more of what you love about NOW: thrilling energy, intimate venues, music you know, and music we want you to know better—always with a fresh twist! This season, we are focusing on three campaigns. Show us what matters the most to you by using the drop-down menu in our online giving software to direct your gift to one of these funds:
Education Initiative: What is your earliest memory of listening to music? Of attending a concert? Was it Peter and the Wolf? The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra? Bugs Bunny, conducting an overture by Rossini? Yo-yo Ma visiting Mr. Rogers Neighborhood? Help NOW light that spark for a young child today by funding our Education Initiative, which helps to fund family concerts and learning activities of all kinds, for the young, and the young-at-heart.
Annual Campaign: This fund is for the list-makers, the goal-oriented folks, the type-A personalities. If you are the kind of person who tackles each new challenge by rolling up your sleeves, sharpening your pencil, and writing the words ‘To Do’ at the top of a new legal pad, this campaign is for you. NOW’s annual fund pays for all the things that keep the orchestra running. It is our lifeblood!Mabry Fund: Carol Mabry was a devoted supporter of NOW, and a lifelong music lover. She was admired and cherished by all who knew her. Ms. Mabry first got to know Alejandro and Grace at Westmoreland UCC in Bethesda, MD. She supported NOW from its earliest beginnings and honored the orchestra by including it in her estate. Help us honor Carol Mabry and plan for NOW’s long-term future with a gift to the Carol Mabry Fund.
